Come find out for yourself what it's like to be a part of our journey.We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future.#WeAre WSPWhat you can expect to do here:As an Environmental Planner, you will:Assist in preparing environmental planning documentation for transportation and other infrastructure planning projectsSupport environmental assessments and consultation processes under Ontario’s EA frameworks (Municipal Class EA, MTO Class EA, Transit Project Assessment Process)Help compile and review technical documents for regulatory approvalsParticipate in stakeholder and Indigenous engagement initiativesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project coordinationLearn the ropes of project management and support proposal developmentChampion health and safety and live WSP’s core valuesWhat you’ll bring to WSP:A bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, science, or a related fieldUp to 2 years of experience (including internships or co-op placements)Familiarity with Ontario’s EA processes and environmental legislation is a plusStrong communication and organizational skillsA collaborative spirit and eagerness to learnKnowledge of relevant legislation (Environmental Assessment Act, Endangered Species Act, Ontario Heritage Act, etc.)Eligibility or interest in becoming a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) with OPPI or obtaining Environmental Professional certification from ECO Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
