Worldpac is proud to offer all our team members a workplace that is both challenging and rewarding, with a commitment to enable each of them to achieve their full potential.What You Will Contribute At WorldpacIn the absence of the Branch Operations Manager, assumes responsibility for day-to-day activities and operations of the branch.Reviews, understands and follows company safety and security procedures, and serves as a role model to ensure compliance by all team members.Supports team members in their training and development and enables immediate application to daily work.Maintains a customer service-oriented philosophy in all conduct to self and other team members.Assists Branch Operations Manager to learn all functions of Branch Management, including operations, staffing, training, reviewing team member performance, expense management and budgeting.Uses vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.Other duties may be assigned.What You Should HaveEducation: High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalentMust-Have SkillsAt least 2 years of prior leadership experience in a warehouse-related fieldComfortable with using Microsoft Office applicationsMust be able to read, write and speak English fluently.Eligible to work in the country in which you are applying forBe available to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays (as needed).Meet all applicable state/province-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties.Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively.Understands staffing requirements.Broad understanding of multiple department functions.Have excellent multitasking abilityWillingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment.Demonstrated self-starter and motivated individual.Ability to challenge upwards – respectful pushback.Willingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of Branch operations.Understanding of P&L.Willing to get powered equipment certification.Nice-to-Have Skills (but Not Required)Bilingual reading/writing/verbal communication skills.Physical/Work Environment ExpectationsAbility to perform basic clerical and physical tasks.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and capability of working effectively with others.Ability to read and write comprehensive detailed instructions, correspondence and memos.Proficient in basic math skills.Be able to lift 50 pounds.Detail-oriented and strong prioritization skills.What Worldpac Provides To YouComprehensive Benefits Package (US Full-Time roles)Health insurance plans, dental, and visionWellness incentives401(k) with employer match after 1 year of serviceComprehensive Benefits Package (CAN Full-Time roles)Extended health care, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insuranceRRSP w/ employer matchEmployee assistance programBeyond Your Day JobFlexible paid time off (full-time roles)Paid holidaysAnnual Performance Reviews/Merit Increases (as eligible)Empowering Career Growth and SuccessWorldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range provided on this job posting.
