This position can be based in Rougemont (Qc) or Cherry Hill (NJ).
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the North American supply chain portfolio.
He/she will also be responsible for guiding the annual strategic planning exercise, implementing project management best practices, and setting up mechanisms to facilitate continuous improvement. This role will implement and critically support strategic and structuring projects for the supply chain, covering procurement, integrated production planning, transportation, warehousing and distribution.
This role requires supporting, motivating and developing a team of three (3) people.

- Lead the supply chain’s strategic thinking over the medium/long term and set up the governance required to monitor the progress and implementation of initiatives.
- Oversee the execution of several projects in parallel (e.g. supply chain system implementations, distribution network optimization, and process transformation).
- Analyze supply chain performance and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor technological and competitive developments.
- Recommend and implement improved processes.
- Develop and cultivate team members to reach their full potential, building sustainable and adequate talent capabilities for Lassonde’s future growth.
- Recruit, select, orient and train employees; develop opportunities for personal growth.
- Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor and evaluate work results; coach and mentor employees.
- Develop, coordinate and implement productivity systems, procedures and standards.
- Establish strategic goals; identify and evaluate trends; choose a course of action; define objectives; evaluate results.
- BAC in engineering, business administration or equivalent.
- 10 years minimum experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Advanced certification in supply chain management or project management (an asset).
- Solid experience in building high-performance teams and delivering results.
- Solid knowledge of IT systems (ERP, WMS, TMS and advanced planning software).
- English speaking, French (an asset).
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to create effective interactions and influence with multiple functional groups and levels of the organization.
- Strong personal influence-building skills.
- Ability to think critically about issues, formulate objective opinions, make effective and timely decisions, and hold stakeholders accountable for results.
- Demonstrated leadership and commitment to valuing diversity and inclusion, as well as change management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing demands and priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Rigorous and positive attitude.
