Montreal, Canada Small Door Veterinary Full time

This is the fifth company that Small Door’s founders have been involved in building. In building Small Door, they partnered with the people responsible for beloved consumer experiences like Warby Parker and Sweetgreen, in addition to healthcare innovators such as One Medical, CityMD and Flatiron Health. Small Door has raised capital from Lerer Hippeau, Primary Ventures, Brand Foundry, Toba Capital, and Pentland Group. The broader management team brings experience from Casper, One Medical, Soulcycle, Warby Parker, Sweetgreen, Peloton, Gilt Groupe, Lightspeed, and Outbrain.

The Associate Product Manager (1 to 4 years of experience) will report to the Associate Director of Product, and will work closely with the engineering, operations, growth, and practice teams.

This position will be key to the future of our product team, and will oversee the product development lifecycle for the entire organization, from project conception all the way through launch and analysis. While receiving support and guidance, they will be responsible for idea generation, prioritization, discovery, prototyping, user testing, quality assurance, deployment, and analysis. They will serve as a liaison between the product team and the operations, growth, and practice teams and should be able to engage with our product from both a high-level strategic perspective, and a ground-level executional perspective. Furthermore we expect the Associate Product Manager to be comfortable with resolving ambiguity; they should be able to ask the right questions, gather context from the right people, and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders. Passion for our mission, and ability to rally teammates around an idea is also highly desirable.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features, conducting sprint planning, and providing guidance throughout the development process
  • Analyze key metrics and user feedback to measure product performance and iterate on features to drive engagement and satisfaction
  • Participate in the product management efforts for internal cloud-based applications, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
  • Oversee the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions within internal applications to streamline workflows and improve productivity
  • Manage the marketing website's product features, focusing on optimizing the onboarding experience to convert visitors into members
  • Utilize data-driven insights and A/B testing to continuously optimize the acquisition funnel and improve conversion rates

Who you are

  • 1+ years of experience in product management roles, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Understanding of mobile app development processes and trade-offs, etc
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and iterating on consumer-facing products, with a focus on user engagement and retention

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Passion for healthcare innovation and improving the customer experience in the digital space

  • Generous paid-time off, parental leave, and company wide holidays
