Community Trust Company (CTC) is a member of the Questrade Group of Companies (QFG).

Responsibilities:

  1. Leads the development of the CTC Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated risk appetite statements.
  2. Leads the creation, review, and implementation of company-wide risk and control oversight processes.
  3. Contributes to the strategic direction through development and implementation of Risk Management strategies.
  4. Establishes interactions with key stakeholders and ensures identification, measurement, and management of key risks.
  5. Provides risk reporting to the CTC Board, CTC Executive, and QFG Risk Management group.
  6. Leads key risk management committees and maintains relationships with oversight partners.
  7. Acts as the primary point of contact relative to OSFI’s supervision of the Company.
  8. Leads and manages the Risk Management team effectively.

Requirements:

  • Senior level risk management experience within an OSFI regulated financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of OSFI regulations and risk management principles.
  • Experience working with an independent Board and Board Committees.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure robust risk management in a responsive environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills.
