Drupal Developer with Security Clearance

Job Overview:OPTASY is seeking aDrupal Developer with Security Clearance in the Ottawa areato transform client needs into high-quality digital solutions. This is anonsite role (five days a week)and involves architecting and developing complex Drupal sites, collaborating closely with project teams to create innovative user experiences.Key Responsibilities:Design and build advanced Drupal modules and custom featuresOversee Drupal site architecture, ensuring scalability and performanceConduct code reviews and guide junior team membersCollaborate with cross-functional teams for project planning and executionCreate documentation and write blog postsQualifications:Security ClearanceMust be based in the Ottawa area, to work in the client's office five days/weekExtensive experience with Drupal (Drupal 8/9/10/11) and PHPProficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Strong understanding of Drupal theming, module development, and site-buildingAbility to create Drupal themes and modules following best practicesExperience working with a team and using a standardized development workflowFamiliarity with the Linux command lineUnderstanding of software development practicesFamiliarity with GitAbility to write technical documentationExperience integrating Drupal with third-party APIsExperience working with SASS, JavaScript, jQueryExperience using a project management tool like JIRAStrong communication skills in English (oral and written)Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approachBonus for:Work with DevOps tools like Docker / DDEVExperience with system administration and securityContributions to an open-source projectExperience working with hosting platforms like Pantheon and AcquiaExperience with Symfony, Laravel, WordPress, and other web development platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr
