This role focuses on supporting and evolving the Data Sharing Platform (DSP)— a key analytics and reporting environment for provincial healthcare data. The work includes a mix of ongoing support and project-based initiatives, contributing to database development, data conversion, analytics preparation, and technical governance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and enhance the Data Sharing Platform (DSP)Perform database conversions and prepare data for analyticsDesign and implement secure data-sharing architecturesTroubleshoot and resolve issues within health-related systemsMaintain and develop SQL Server environments including: databases, tables, views, functions, stored procedures, indexesScheduled jobs, triggers, SSIS packagesBuild and maintain SSRS reports and Power BI dashboardsAdminister BI platforms, with preference for Power BIParticipate in system architecture involving multiple domainsCollaborate with teams and participate in scrumsAfter-hours or weekend work may be required (with prior approval)Mandatory QualificationsDegree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)15+ years of experience in IM/IT10+ years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)5+ years of experience supporting health applications in Canadian Provincial Health environmentsExcellent written and verbal English communicationAvailable to work on-site in Fredericton, NB, starting November 17, 2025Preferred Qualifications5+ years recent experience in health analytics/reporting10+ years experience with SQL Server (2012+)Strong BI experience (especially Power BI)5+ years designing/deploying SSRS or Power BI dashboards8+ years implementing technical solutions in operational environments8+ years enterprise-level architectural experience3+ years working with Cognos/ImpromptuCandidates who currently reside in New Brunswick or are willing to relocate will be given priority. This role requires participation in a hybrid work environment based in Fredericton.
