We're excited to help connect talented professionals with this exceptional team The Role The leading AI-powered automation platform transforming revenue teams is looking for a Backend Engineer to build and optimize the robust systems behind intelligent automation for customers like Zscaler, Ramp, and 1Password. In this role, you’ll collaborate across engineering and product teams to ship scalable, reliable backend solutions that help modern sales organizations work smarter and win more. This is a hybrid position (up to 4 days a week in office) in the Vancouver area. What You’ll Own Help build foundational systems; contribute to architecture decisions, implement best practices, ensure scale and reliability, maintain and iterate. Hands‑on to produce clean maintainable code which serves as an example for others. Quick code review life cycle with multiple deployments per day. Actively identify opportunities to enhance processes and technology. Participate in team initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and collaborate closely with peers to support team growth. Mentor junior & intern engineers and educate on best practices. Provide technical guidance through code reviews, design discussions and pairing. Proactively learn and share technical findings with the team. Make technical decisions in collaboration with senior team members, balancing speed and technical integrity. Quickly evaluate trade‑offs and build consensus, avoiding over‑engineering and offering solutions rather than problems. Collaborate with front‑end engineers, customer success, and product leaders to deliver key features and delight customers. Effectively address and resolve technical challenges, contributing to smooth and timely project delivery. What You’ll Bring 3–5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in SaaS and backend web‑application development. Strong understanding of modern software development practices, including architecture and infrastructure, with experience building and scaling complex, high‑availability systems. Familiarity with OpenAI technologies is a plus. Experience building end‑to‑end web applications, including full‑stack development technologies and APIs. Preferred technologies: Node.js, GCP, GraphQL, but similar alternatives are acceptable. Database experience is expected. Track record of mentoring junior developers and contributing to team growth and knowledge sharing. Customer empathy: lead on defining customer requirements and delighting customers through discovery and solution design. Excellence in tackling and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with a focus on agility and quick adaptation to change. Collaborative: work across teams to deliver high‑quality products. Why Join Them?
