We also excel in manufacturing and transportation of construction materials including several aggregate-based products, cement, asphalt, and ready-mix concrete.Connect with us on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelinesAssist with overall project performance including costs, schedule, and qualityMaintain and promote excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and publicManage change order processes, including pricing, processing, assessing cost and schedule impactAdhere to the Lavis Policy and Procedure ManualAssist in planning, preparing, and updating work schedules and executing construction activitiesCoordinate quality assurance and quality control activities on the project site and adherence to contract requirementsMaintain plans, specifications, cost, and materials estimates, subcontractors and reports and ensures latest issues are distributed as requiredEnsure project cost requirements are met and coding procedures are followedAssists with estimating and bidding projects as requiredRequirementsCurrently a student in a civil engineering or related technical field programAttention to details and superior organizational skills to work well with shifting priorities and rapid changeStrong ability to work with a highly functional teamGood communication skills both spoken and writtenValid drivers licenseExcellent Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, and Excel skillsWillingness to work occasional weekends and night shifts as the project schedule demandsMiller is proud to provide this unique career opportunity, we offer continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package.
