The Role Cognota is a rapidly growing, remote-first SaaS company building a category-defining LearnOps® platform that’s changing how L&D teams operate. As we continue to expand our partner ecosystem and industry presence, we’re looking for a creative, driven, and highly organized marketer to help us amplify our impact through memorable events and strategic partnerships. Reporting to our CMO, you’ll lead the planning and execution of Cognota-owned and industry events, ranging from private executive dinners to major conferences and virtual experiences, bringing the LearnOps story to life. You’ll also play a key role in developing and executing joint marketing strategies with Cognota’s partners, driving brand awareness, community engagement, and pipeline growth. Event Marketing Responsibilities Lead our portfolio of events and collaborate with other go-to-market team members to increase awareness, build community, and fuel new revenue opportunities Manage full event lifecycle and experiences from planning, budgeting, to post-event analysis including but not limited to virtual roundtables, conferences and in-person meetups Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to determine event scope and ensure all teams are aligned on the event plan, objectives, and event logistics Conduct retrospectives after each event to analyze performance, identify what worked, and what to improve upon Handle post-event nurture, lead generation and handoff and regularly report on event ROI with the support of the Demand Generation Manager Research, source, and create memorable marketing materials that will be used to showcase Delivering Cognota’s brand at events, including booths, pop-up banners, swag, and printed materials Partner Marketing Responsibilities Create and implement marketing strategies with partners to achieve objectives like revenue growth, increased market share, and enhanced brand visibility Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, and product to develop and execute partner marketing strategies and initiatives Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner ecosystem developments to identify new marketing opportunities Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with partners by understanding their goals and resources, and ensuring consistent communication Develop and provide partners with marketing collateral such as presentations, brochures, whitepapers, and case studies, and co-create content for joint promotions Manage the budget allocated to partner programs, ensuring funds are used efficiently and effectively Organize and support joint events, trade shows, webinars, and meetups to promote products and connect with potential customers Your Experience 5-7 years of relevant professional experience Proficiency in Asana, Hubspot, Salesforce and Zoom Webinars is preferred Detail-oriented and proven organizational abilities Ability to effectively prioritize changing requirements, projects, and initiatives Strong organizational and event coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure, maintaining accuracy and quality Collaborative and team-oriented with a positive attitude, sense of humor, and resilience Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Extra Points If You have past partner/co-marketing experience You have knowledge of the L&D industry and vendors You have experience using generative AI tools to increase efficiency You Can Expect Competitive pay Medical, dental, vision and extended health coverage from day one Unlimited vacation days Monthly “You Days” when the whole company gets the day off to recharge and focus on themselves Paid time off on your birthday to celebrate and enjoy a day just for you Professional development opportunities through access to internal mentors and a huge library of learning and development content A flexible, remote-first way of working Equal Opportunity Cognota believes in equality and celebrates diversity.
