Personal Banker Trainee / Manager Personal Financial Services Trainee I Location: Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 per week Line Of Business: Personal & Commercial Banking Compensation: $50,600 – $71,400 CAD (base salary; variable compensation may apply) At TD Canada Trust, we provide customer‑facing banking services and strive to build lasting relationships. In this role you will deliver personalized financial advice, promote TD’s products, and support a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities Advising customers on high‑level financial solutions and investment options. Engaging customers with thoughtful financial questions, creating positive experiences, and deepening relationships. Delivering personalized financial advice and addressing customer concerns while maintaining confidentiality. Acting as the frontline contact for staff when handling customer problems. Maintaining a professional workspace in common areas per marketing and regulatory standards. Conducting financial reviews, discussing portfolio updates, and suggesting solutions based on customers’ goals. Staying knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct; participating in process improvement initiatives. Achieving and improving service level agreements and productivity targets. Ensuring documentation complies with relevant regulations and accurately reflects business intentions. Supporting team collaboration, mentoring colleagues, and addressing communication issues efficiently. Required Qualifications High school diploma and/or one year of relevant experience. Post‑secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset. Completion of IFIC or equivalent required. CFSA must be completed within 12 months if hired. Experience in real‑estate secured lending and/or investment is an asset. Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts. Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications. Effective communication skills; able to exchange ideas and customer information concisely. Self‑initiated with strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
