As a Service Technician, you will record service requests, successfully service equipment, and follow up with customers on maintenance or concerns.ResponsibilitiesPerform planned and preventative maintenance on company product lines and competitive equipment.Complete customer service breakdown calls and repairs as scheduled.Prepare new equipment for installation and in-service.Maintain customer records and profiles.Prepare and complete customer work orders, warranty claims, and parts orders.Build and maintain good relationships with customers, sales staff, and management.Solve mechanical and electrical problems utilizing manuals and technical support.Foster key customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.RequirementsMechanical, electrical, or automotive background, training, or certification.Strong communication skills.Self-starter with initiative and follow-through.Organizational skills.Customer service skills.Computer proficiency.Ability to adapt to change and manage competing demands.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.Confidentiality and time management.Ability to stay within budget.Valid driver’s license and clean record.Some travel and overtime may be required.What’s in it for you?Bunzl Canada provides essential products for over 45,000 Canadian businesses.
