Job no: 505011 Work type: Contract Full Time Location: Sydney Categories: Social Media / Digital Production / Content Projects Strategy & Planning Ultimo NSW Location Produce projects events and content for ABC Classic and Jazz campaigns Fixed Term contract for 20 months Base salary $88K to $105K (paid on a pro rata basis) 15.4% ABC nominated superannuation The Role Are you a Producer or Arts Administrator with experience in classical music? Do you have a passion for creating and driving campaigns and events? The ABC Classic and Jazz team is looking for a Project Producer to shape and deliver highly engaging projects for our much-loved national music networks. The Job Producing a variety of ABC Classic and Jazz projects with a focus on the Young Performers Awards. Communicating internally and externally with a broad group of stakeholders and representing ABC Classic and Jazz positively across all project communications. Planning and coordination of events including but not limited to live radio broadcasts ticketed events or other public-facing activities. Demonstrating and applying a working knowledge of the Australian and global classical music sectors to inform and guide project delivery. Collaborating with the internal digital and social media team to promote campaigns and events. Position Description : PROJECT About You You will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work collaboratively alongside a broad range of stakeholders and work independently when required. Youll have : Sophisticated communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills and influencing skills. Demonstrated exceptional organisational and administrative skills. An ability to take ownership of ABC Classic and Jazz projects and campaigns and advocate for their success. Comprehensive knowledge of classical music repertoire and ABC Classics output and audience. Experience in or knowledge of the Australian arts education sector. An understanding of the importance of social media and digital platforms for promoting ABC Classic and Jazz campaigns. A Working with Children Check will be mandatory.
