Position Details The experienced business and product development manager in our Commercial Automobile line of business will be responsible for implementing the division’s underwriting strategy in conjunction with the Director of Long Haul Trucking and Commercial Automobile, for achieving regional performance goals, leading a team of professional staff, and supporting underwriting activities. Responsibilities Provide product development leadership to ensure product integrity and support the development of new products and/or enhancements of current products. Support the Director in leading a growing team of professional staff, achieving business goals and operating within approved budgets. Collaborate with senior managers in other departments to utilize their expertise and ensure consistency with overall company direction. In conjunction with the Technical Underwriting Manager, develop underwriting processes and procedures. Ensure that proper review and approval processes are in place for new policy wordings or major policy wording changes. Identify and facilitate learning and development programs focused on overall enhancement of skills. Qualifications College or university degree coupled with 7+ years of Commercial Automobile underwriting, product management and business development experience. Prior leadership experience. One of the following FCIP, CIP, CRM. Product management experience with profit & loss responsibility for Commercial Automobile line of business.
