Director, Operational Resiliency ProgramSalary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance-based incentive, applicable to position): $136,850 - $185,150Closing Date: 11/26/2025Worker Type: PermanentLanguage(s) Required: EnglishAs we continue to evolve our strategy to support the Canadian agriculture and food industry and fulfil our legislative mandate, the importance of operational resilience grows in parallel, ensuring we can withstand, adapt to and recover from disruptions while maintaining continuity of critical operations.As Director, Operational Resiliency Program, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping FCC’s operational resilience strategy, ensuring that business continuity, incident and crisis management, and third-party risk practices evolve alongside organizational transformation. Through a risk-based approach, you’ll enable FCC to stay within our defined risk appetite while supporting sustainable growth, innovation and service continuity.What You’ll DoEstablish and implement frameworks, policies, strategies and practices for operational resiliency risk managementEnable FCC’s enterprise-wide operational resiliency program, ensuring the organization is prepared to respond to and recover from business disruptionsLead the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the incident and crisis management frameworks and protocols, establishing clear roles and accountabilitiesDevelop a protocol used to declare a crisis that outlines how to manage through an incident or crisisPartner with senior leaders to embed risk awareness into strategic decision-making and foster a strong risk cultureProvide strategic guidance on operational resiliency, business continuity, incident and crisis management, and third-party risk management best practices, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworksLead and develop a high‑performing team focused on delivering results in alignment with strategic objectivesWhat We’re Looking ForExperienced leader who brings out the best in team members and provides a clear line of sight to business goalsStrong communicator who can build relationships across the corporationMulti‑tasker who can ensure projects move forward under predetermined timelinesWhat You’ll NeedA bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in commerce, computer science or business administration, and/or a risk management certification and at least 10 years of progressive experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Experience developing and implementing strategic plans and organizational strategiesExpertise in technology and information risk management, with an understanding of industry trends, technologies and methodologiesYou belong hereAt FCC, we’re committed to creating an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace – one that reflects the communities where we live, work and play.
