We are looking for a talented Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team and manage our total rewards programs. Responsibilities Compensation Elevate our compensation practices to boost efficiency and market competitiveness. Assist in the annual pay planning process, including budget management, data analysis, and bonus accruals. Manage our incentive plans, ensuring precise calculations and timely payments. Conduct job evaluations and guide the HR team on compensation structures and policies. Contribute to the development of salary structures and market benchmarking. Oversee incentive processing, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Benefits Administration Help administer our benefits and retirement schemes, including health and life insurance, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Support the benefits renewal process, including vendor management and plan updates. Coordinate annual open enrollment periods and create engaging communication materials. Serve as the primary liaison with benefits carriers for claims resolution and eligibility inquiries. Develop clear employee communications to educate on program changes. Manage the company's pension plan, ensuring compliance with regulations and plan rules. Process employee contributions, changes, and withdrawals in line with legislation. Other Responsibilities Prepare salary reports and analyses, including equity reports and ad hoc requests. Support compliance and audits related to Canadian labor laws and statutory requirements. Maintain accurate employee records and assist in compliance activities for the Total Rewards Team. Research and suggest enhancements to existing benefits programs. Required Education & Qualifications A university degree, preferably in Business with a focus on Human Resources or Data Analytics, or equivalent experience. 5+ years in a Human Resources role with an emphasis on compensation and benefits. Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel; familiarity with the Google Platform is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing confidential information. Knowledge of employment legislation across Canadian provinces and HR best practices. Familiarity with HRIS (Workday) is advantageous. Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred.
