Customer Success Operational Technology Advisor – Canada Hexagon Mining is a global leader in digital reality solutions. We combine sensor, software, and autonomous technologies to boost efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety across industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, and mobility applications. Purpose of Position Customer Success Advisors are technical specialists and trusted advisors for Hexagon Mining solutions. Working directly with customers, Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and Product Development teams, they ensure customer retention and growth. Responsibilities As a technical and domain expert in Hexagon product lines, support the regional commercial team during the pre/post‑sales process by defining, scoping, and demonstrating mining technology solutions. Assist the commercial team in participating in RFP/RFQ processes in a technical capacity. Act as the trusted advisor for the customer to ensure Hexagon solutions deliver against customer needs, focusing on adoption and value realization. Post‑sale, provide guidance for solutions application and ensure customers obtain full value of Hexagon solutions. Provide proactive customer care for the successful adoption of Hexagon solutions. Identify opportunities for customers to gain more value out of Hexagon solutions on a regular basis. Identify opportunities for customers to improve operations through additional Hexagon technologies and refer these opportunities as cross‑sell/up‑sell within a customer account. Undertake assigned initiatives designed to further Hexagon success. Actively pursue industry participation, including development and presentation of papers, creation of case studies, and contribution to key account Customer Success efforts. Measuring Success Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Score Net Promoter Score (NPS) Customer Retention Rate Renewal Rate Expansion Revenue Active Usage or Adoption Rate Customer Health Score Onboarding Completion Rate Customer Engagement Win Rate Knowledge & Experience – Required Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in mining, technology, or geology. Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining‑related business. Subject Matter Expert experience in mining operational technologies, underground and surface. Expertise in other Hexagon focus areas is a benefit. Significant customer‑facing experience. Knowledge & Experience – Desired Consultancy/advisory experience in a customer‑facing role. Key Skills Excellent computer operation and software application knowledge. Experience in value‑selling and project business case development. Strong project management and change management skills. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Experience in process optimization and digital transformation. Ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong problem‑solving skills to address complex technical challenges. Team collaboration and independent contribution. Clear, courteous, and professional communication. Exceptional negotiation, problem‑solving and presentation skills. Rapid learning and knowledge sharing. Travel Requirements Considerable regional travel – up to 50% of the time.
