Base pay range CA$85,000.00/yr - CA$100,000.00/yr We’re looking for a senior-level Shopify UI/UX Designer with strong frontend development expertise to lead design and implementation of best-in-class ecommerce experiences. This role blends creative direction, UX thinking, and hands‑on front‑end development across Shopify, custom React components, and Liquid theme work. What You’ll Do Own end‑to‑end UX/UI design for Shopify stores: wireframes, prototypes, visual systems, and high‑fidelity Figma designs. Implement reusable UI components, interactive modules, and custom storefront features. Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering on user flows, site architecture, and CRO‑driven UX improvements. Optimize for speed, accessibility, mobile UX, and best practices in Shopify front‑end performance. Translate data insights, heatmaps, and user behavior into design and experience improvements. What You Bring 7+ years in UI/UX design and front‑end development, ideally within ecommerce or DTC environments. Expert proficiency in Figma, Liquid, React, and modern front‑end tooling. Strong understanding of Shopify theme architecture, Sections Everywhere, metafields, and headless integrations. Demonstrated ability to ship polished, conversion‑focused interfaces from concept through production. Strong portfolio showcasing Shopify design + development work. Excellent problem solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
