Your role at GEI.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Communicate with Clients and team members to coordinate and deliver projects.
  2. Completion and oversight of field investigations including sampling of soil, groundwater, and surface water quality;
  3. Completion of reports for Phased ESAs, DSS, Hydrogeological Studies, Landfill Monitoring reports, excess soil, ECA and PTTW/EASR applications;
  4. Working with other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals;
  5. Certain assignments may require that you work outside of normal work hours.
Minimum Qualifications

  1. 4 to 8 years of experience
  2. P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation (or working toward these designations)
  3. Excellent communication skills (oral and written) required
  4. Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, AquiferTest, Powerpoint, etc.
  5. Knowledge of soils, geochemistry, environmental legislation, use of level loggers
  6. Office and field work expectations
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team setting, and independently
  8. Possess a valid driver's licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
