Senior ML/LLM Engineer for AI Code Reviewer Startup

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior ML Engineer with a strong background in LLMs and software development tooling to join our team. In this role, you will be architecting and developing our flagship product’s ML systems for code review, source code analysis, issue detection and prioritization and more. You will be working with cutting-edge foundational models (including OpenAI GPT-4 models and open source models), LLM tools and various other types of ML techniques and toolchains. Your focus will be on production-level ML and LLM systems, but will also include research and development.
What You'll Do: Collaborate with ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and Head of Product to refine and expand our ML systems and enhance user value by integrating advanced ML techniques into our pipelines and prompts Lead the research and implementation of novel ML techniques to tackle emerging challenges within our product and LLM integrations Collaboratively define the project direction and shape the strategic roadmap for Machine Learning initiatives, working closely with researchers and other team members Leverage your experience to drive best practices in ML Engineering and mentor other engineers on the team
What You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field Expertise in one or more of the following languages: Python, Go, C, C++, Java, C#, SQL (Python required, minimum 5 years) Track record of building and deploying production-grade ML applications Experience with prompt engineering Demonstrated ability to build production-grade applications that directly interact with LLMs Experience with various technology architectures (monolith, microservices, etc.) Familiarity with infrastructure systems (AWS experience a plus) Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts effectively
