This opportunity is hybrid and based in Vancouver, BC, with flexibility for other Canadian locations.The RoleReporting to the Process Department Manager, the Senior Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing process engineering across the full lifecycle of projects within the BioProducts sector. The successful candidate will contribute to key projects in pulp and paper, wood products, bioenergy, biochemicals, carbon capture, and related industries, offering technical leadership and supporting client objectives from concept through to implementation.Our Clients and ProjectsDesigning the future. We are committed to ensuring fairness and inclusivity by relying on the expertise from a team of professional recruiters for the application reviews, interviews, and qualification assessments.ResponsibilitiesOversee process engineering and design throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to start-upEnsure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory obligationsSupport proposals, including scope definition, budgeting, estimating engineering effort, and execution planningDeliver and manage process scope: technical oversight, schedule adherence, reportingPrepare and present technical reports and process documentationDevelop specifications and sizing calculations for pumps, piping, vessels, heat exchangers, and industrial equipmentLead client site visits for troubleshooting, performance assessments, and project scopingCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, piping, structural, electrical, and project managementBuild and maintain client and supplier relationships and internal team coordinationMentor junior engineers and designersStay current with relevant technologies and trends in the BioProducts and energy sectorsQualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
