You will work directly with customers to understand their unique needs and requirements, to ensure project success. There is also the opportunity to act as a mentor and provide leadership within the design team for younger designers.What you'll need to get the job doneOur ideal candidate will have a Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of experience in RF Design, microwave Design, Base station Radio development, radar, or similar.Experience with test automation in PythonExperience working on embedded software developmentPerform complex design work related to RF and Microwave circuitryProvide technical advice and direction to project management and business developmentResearch, develop and implement new and innovative design strategiesUnderstand and be able to design elements of an RF front end such as filters, LNAs, PAs, PLDROs, PLL’s etc.Complete component selection and device characterizationPrepare schematic generation, and supporting layout activitiesPerform radio and board level design and verificationTrouble shoot and debug hardware issuesWrite specifications, test documentation and reportsPerform board level system bring-up and integrationWhat will make us REALLY love youExperience or exposure to satellite systemsExperience with Data Systems (Google, Azure, on-prem)Candidate should be highly motivated, a self starter, and a team playerAble to work well with in a multidisciplinary teamAbility to multitask, meet deadlines and manage many different projects at onceExcellent English skills, both verbal and written, providing effective communication to build strong relationships internally as well as externally.What you’ll love about us:At Syntronic, our employees are our greatest asset.
