Since 1974 QTK has been fusing unique designs with innovative manufacturing to create almost limitless options for our customers.Senior Kitchen Designer / SalesWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Kitchen Designer / Sales who will report directly to the Vice President and will have experience in kitchen and custom cabinetry design. The role involves designing and selling kitchen, vanities, closets and other custom millwork.Job DescriptionQualify clients, execute design consultations, provide quotes and recommend product options based on client’s needsPreliminary design planning followed through to finalized project design developmentConsultation with clients and internal teams throughout projectsEffectively facilitate the sale of projects, prepare contract documentation & submit orders for approvalEnsure all company policies and procedures are followed throughout the projectFollow up with client post project installation and serviceMaintain relationships with clients throughout the entire design process to ensure outstanding customer experienceNetwork and maintain a prospect list to develop and grow a network of builders, designers and clientsMentor and train junior designersProvide exceptional customer serviceRequired Skills and Experience5 or more years of experience designing and selling custom kitchens, vanities and custom millworkUniversity Degree or College Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent work experiencePrevious sales experience is required and proven ability to close deals successfullyProficiency in working with AutoCAD is a mustWorking knowledge in Microsoft Office, esp. Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to interpret specifications and drawings and take accurate site measurementsEffective written, verbal communication and presentation skillsExperience in space planning, construction, kitchen and bath designMust be highly motivated and detail orientedCharismatic, passionate, innovative, customer service orientedExcellent time management and exceptional customer service skillsCompetitive salary plus commission and bonus, based on experience.
