Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a User Experience (UX) Data Analyst to join our growing User Experience Design (UXD) team. The user is at the core of everything we do here at Lenovo and your expertise is needed to help bring the voice of the customer into the design process.

In this role, you will identify data-driven insights to influence design decisions. Using a variety of primary and secondary research and analysis, you will be an advocate for our end users. You will leverage your storytelling to influence stakeholders and help teams create industry-leading user experiences for all.

This role will involve close collaboration with user experience designers, researchers, data scientists, product developers, product managers, engineers, and executives throughout the design process.

  1. Utilize advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  2. Create and maintain interactive dashboards to track user experience metrics and visualize user behavior patterns.
  3. Follow standard operating procedures to maintain data quality for voice of customer tools.
  4. Collaborate with UX and CX product managers and engineers to integrate research findings into design and development processes.
  5. Communicate research and data analysis findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders through clear, compelling reports and presentations.
  6. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in UX research, data science, and human-computer interaction.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in UX research, data analysis, or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and UX research methodologies.
  2. Expertise in standard data visualization and dashboarding tools, Power BI preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experience with machine learning algorithms.
  4. A portfolio showcasing previous research projects and their impact on product design.
