Job description
Under the responsibility of the ASL Plant Manager, the main responsibilities of the Procurement Clerk are:
- Coordinate raw material picking schedules for finished product deliveries to optimize customer services and transportation costs.
- Supply production with raw materials accordingly to established rates.
- Participate in the daily production meeting.
- Prepare and track orders for raw materials and/or supplies for factories, either by computer or Kanban system.
- Participate in the taking and compilation of the inventory, follow up and notify the managers of any discrepancies.
- Coordinate the transportation of finished products, merchandise returns, and raw materials
- Any other related tasks.

Education and accreditations:
- College diploma in logistics production or any other combination of education and experience deemed relevant.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Fluently bilingual in French and English, both orally and in writing
- Computer skills and with the Windows and Office 365 environment
- Excellent ability to multitask
- Critical thinking
- Strong communication skills and teamwork oriented
