Base Pay Range CA$95,000.00/yr - CA$125,000.00/yr About the Opportunity TRANSTEX develops and manufactures leading-edge solutions that offer semi-trailer fleets the ability to reduce fuel consumption significantly through improved aerodynamics. Based in Montreal and operating across North America, we have been spearheading a more sustainable transportation industry for over twenty years. The engineering activities in Research and Development at TRANSTEX are rich and varied. The Aerodynamic Devices Programme requires a senior product development engineer to join the team: Design new devices, improvements, cost reduction solutions, and tooling Advise the team for sheet metal, plastics, coatings, and systems Develop prototypes and test procedures Conduct mechanical and aerodynamic simulations and tests Author production drawings Develop the company’s broad patent portfolio Play your expertise to support junior team members in their professional development Requirements A minimum of 8 years developing products. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent ability. Thorough understanding of design for manufacturing. Thorough understanding of engineering specifications, automotive materials, and drafting standards. At least limited working proficiency in French and in English. What We Offer Hybrid work policy.
