Job Title: Security Architect

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in the migration of legacy data centers to new data centers hosting on the HPE Greenlake private cloud, a project known as IRAM. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture, IT infrastructure, application security, and security best practices.

Qualifications

Certification and Licensure:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP and CISM are a plus.
  • Application Architecture (COTS, Web applications, APIs) experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of certificates (particularly TLS) and PKI is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in a related discipline (CISSP / CCSP preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT security.
  • Experience with Secrets Management (Delinea Secrets Server preferred).
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and industry standards.
  • Experience in training and documentation development.
  • Windows Server administration and security experience.
  • Linux (specifically RedHat RHEL) security experience preferred.
  • Experience with Active Directory / Entra security, including authentication, authorization, principle of least privilege, group policies, password policies, and tiering (tier 0, 1, 2).
  • Experience with Azure Cloud, SailPoint, HPE Greenlake, RedHat OpenShift, and VXLAN is a plus.
  • Experience with Zero Trust network architectures is preferred.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Focus on IRAM (private cloud), server and Active Directory (AD) migrations, and secure configurations according to Client's Security Standards and Industry Best Practices.
  • Document architecture, process flows, and patterns.
  • Collaborate with Security Enterprise Architects, Security Engineering, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) teams.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing.
  • Perform Risk Assessment to ensure alignment with company requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide assistance with Disaster Recovery architecture.
  • Work hands-on with Delinea, Entra, and various PowerShell scripts.
  • Participate in incident response and forensic investigations.
