Software Support Engineer (Java/C++/Python) This is an application support role, not a development position. Base pay range CA$60,000.00 – CA$80,000.00 per year. Remote across Canada. 5 positions available. Responsibilities Respond to and triage support questions and requests from engineers. Extract relevant information from log files and other sources to debug, identify owners or root causes. Write basic tools and test cases to improve the speed and quality of support. Work with technical writers to improve documentation in areas covered by support. Produce reports for leadership with data on performance of the program. Provide insights and suggestions on product development and the product roadmap; contribute to product development. Manage and escale engineers' support queries, using advanced data tools for in‑depth analysis to quickly identify and resolve issues, enhancing ML model development cycles. Develop debugging scripts and documentation to automate and speed up responses and provide actionable feedback to the engineering team. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in the following tech stack: Java, C++, or Python application development. Experience with SQL. Customer‑facing experience, working with multiple stakeholders. Flexible with time zone requirements. Interview Process Live coding interview – 1 hour. Two rounds of technical interviews.
