The Role
Seequent is a world leader in the development of data visualization software. Our solutions enable people to create rich stories, uncover valuable insights from geological data, and ultimately make better decisions about their earth, environment, and energy challenges. We are seeking a highly motivated technical expert with strong business acumen to support our Geological modelling solutions.
Working closely with the North American Revenue team (including the Technical Services and Sales groups) and with other functions across Seequent, you will be a leader promoting the continuous improvement of services to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent role in either our Toronto or Vancouver offices. Travel and delivery of training within Canada and USA may contribute up to 15% of your time per month.
A senior level Geologist has advanced level expertise on the workflows facilitated by Leapfrog Geo, Edge, and Central for fast model generation and stakeholder collaboration.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
Expertise in 3D Geological Modelling using Leapfrog Geo & Leapfrog Edge.More than 8 years' work experience in mine operations, mineral exploration, and/or consulting; including proficiency in geostatistics and block modelling (including long-term mineral resource estimation and short-term grade control workflows).University Degree in Geology or Geoscience (BSc or higher).Fluency in English; French or Spanish is considered an asset.Must have legal credentials to work in Canada or USA.Excellent interpersonal skills that lead to building rich working relationships.Working conditions
This role is an Office-based position and will be based in either our Toronto, Ontario or Vancouver, British Columbia Office.
