Student Optician – Toronto, ON – LensCraftersStore #: 000910Position: Casual Part‑TimeResponsibilitiesCommitment to providing unsurpassed customer serviceProactive, solution‑driven execution and accurate product knowledgeAssist customers with selections, provide recommendations and educate on adjustment servicesRemain patient and courteous with indecisive customers, providing answers to questions or product detailsAct as a leader in optical acumen, serving as a voice for associatesRecord measurements, adjust/fits eyewear correctly to meet customer needsOperate the point‑of‑sale terminal, inputting customer and prescription information accuratelyMaintain store appearance and visual displaysBasic QualificationsCurrently enrolled in an Opticianry programOptical dispensing experienceKnowledge of current optical theory and merchandiseKnowledge of current store merchandise assortment and use of inventory management systemsStrong communicator and listenerSales skills – ability to use an iPad/tabletComfortable using technology to engage patients, customers and associatesPreferred QualificationsActively studying LensCrafters Final Inspector CertificationActively studying LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting ProgramPrevious experience in customer service and retailBenefits & CompensationEmployee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications and local minimum wage requirements.
