Truck & Transport Technical Trainer

Job Description Are you a seasoned truck and transport technician who’s ready to pass on your knowledge? We’re looking for a skilled, hard‑working individual to step into the role of Truck and Transport Technical Trainer at our head office in Dieppe. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to person for training our team of heavy‑duty truck techs. You’ll build and lead hands‑on training sessions that help our crew stay sharp, up to date and ready to tackle any job that rolls into the shop. What we offer: A steady, full‑time position with a respected company Competitive pay and solid benefits and quarterly bonuses A chance to make a real difference in the careers of fellow tradespeople A supportive team that values your experience and leadership Paid vacation and sick time Fitness reimbursement program and company discounts Responsibilities Teach and mentor technicians and the rest of the team on the latest tools, techniques, and repair methods Build training programs that are practical, effective, and easy to follow by working with our Service Managers Own the training manuals and keep them up to date and meeting stakeholder requirements Help keep our service team at the top of their game by being a mentor to our technicians Qualifications Minimum of five years of experience as a technician in heavy‑duty truck repair, with a strong understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems Truck and Transport Red Seal License preferred Ability to obtain specialized technical training from Daimler Previous experience in a training or instructional role is preferred Energetic, Enthusiastic and team oriented with strong interpersonal skills Exceptional organizational, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel Ability to read and interpret documents such as manuals, guidelines, training materials, resumes, evaluations, and assessments.
