Position Overview As a Mortgage Broker – Residential, you will play a key role in assisting clients through the home loan process, from initial consultation to loan closing. This position requires a deep understanding of residential mortgage products, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential mortgage brokerage and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Client Consultation Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their financial goals and recommend suitable mortgage products. Educate clients on various loan options, terms, and conditions. Loan Origination Manage the end-to-end residential mortgage origination process, from application to closing. Work closely with clients to gather necessary documentation and ensure a smooth loan approval process. Product Knowledge Stay up-to-date on residential mortgage products, interest rates, and industry trends. Provide clients with accurate and timely information to help them make informed decisions. Relationship Building Build and nurture relationships with real estate agents, financial institutions, and other industry partners. Cultivate a network of referrals to expand the client base. Compliance and Documentation Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate and complete documentation for each loan transaction. Qualifications Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker, with a focus on residential mortgages. Alberta issued mortgage broker license. Proven track record of successfully closing residential mortgage transactions. Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
