LTO Assignment: AM - Prep & Planning/ PM Grade 4 English 1.00 FTE Ottawa Catholic School Board Long Term Occasional teacher to provide coverage for a teacher on leave. Required Qualifications Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. Successful completion of the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT. Salary will be determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement. Effective September 1, 2025, teacher salaries will range from $51,234.00 to $119,943.00. Process for Selection The school board will identify the three most senior applicants who are available for the assignment and hold the required qualifications. An Occasional Teacher is considered available if they have not already been assigned to another LTO position during the term being filled. Each of the three most senior applicants will be contacted to confirm their interest. If any decline, the board will contact the next most senior qualified applicant, ensuring that five applicants are considered. If fewer than three qualified applicants apply, the board will select the successful applicant from the qualified applicants. If no qualified occasional teachers apply or all decline, the board may hire an external qualified teacher not on the roster to fill the assignment. Additional Information Applicants not currently employed by the OCSB will be required to submit a negative PRC for the Vulnerable Sector dated within the last six months as part of the hiring process.
