We are committed to ensuring fairness and inclusivity by relying on the expertise from a team of professional recruiters for the application reviews, interviews, and qualification assessments.ResponsibilitiesProviding structural design and drafting support.Prepare complex 3D structural models using Aveva E3DPreparing drawings for structural steel, reinforced concrete, using Aveva E3D and AutoCAD.Reviewing and performing quality checks of project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation against project standards and specificationsCoordinating and working with project team members from local and regional officesAdhering to established design guidelines and proceduresMaintaining accurate design files for reference purposesPerforming other discipline duties as requested by Structural lead.QualificationsMust be legally able to work in Canada at the time of applicationStructural engineering technician / technology diploma from a recognized college5-10 years structural design experience on heavy industrial projects or related design experienceExperience using Aveva E3D and AutoCADDrafting and design experience within a consulting engineering environmentAbility to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasksEffective communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environmentExperience in other Structural Modeling Software (Smart 3D, Advance Steel, Revit) would be an assetAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
