In addition to 7 restaurants in Toronto’s core, Impact Kitchen fuels many of the city’s major sports teams and top athletes through catering and culinary programs. Culinary Experience Manager As a Culinary Experience Manager (CEM) at Impact Kitchen you set the culinary standard high and are passionate about ensuring guests enjoy their experience through incredible food. You lead a team to create delectable and consistent dishes, support back‑of‑house operations, and partner with Guest Experience counterparts. The role is highly physical and requires strong stamina and flexibility. Compensation Culinary Experience Managers earn a competitive salary, yearly bonus opportunity, participate in tip‑pooling, receive a meal stipend, substantial product discounts, and flexible scheduling. Core Responsibilities Assist in setup, organization, and cleanliness of the kitchen Ensure kitchen compliance with health and safety regulations Manage production schedule and logistics within a multi‑location operation Oversee kitchen staff, fostering teamwork Schedule kitchen personnel in line with forecasts and budget Model company standards and operating practices Recruit, train, and evaluate top talent through progressive training Execute disciplinary action via HR process when necessary Interpret and report cost of goods and labour against budget Collaborate on menu development and recipe creation Skills Culinary degree or equivalent experience (Red Seal preferred) Minimum 3 years progressive culinary/kitchen management experience Proven success managing food and labour costs Comprehensive knowledge of food production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation Knowledge of federal, provincial and municipal health and safety requirements Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills Experience in training and developing new employees Ability to maintain consistency, quality and plate presentation Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and long hours as needed Willingness to perform other duties as assigned Multiple outlet or commissary experience considered an asset Ability to lift over 20 lbs is required Legal permission to work in Canada is required Inclusivity at Impact Impact Kitchen feeds a diverse community and is strengthened by our diverse team.
