The recruiter will also assist in accurate documentation of the onboarding process and recruitment related activities such as training, audits, and various administrative work.Location: Ontario Medical Supply, Ottawa or GTAReports to: Talent Acquisition SpecialistNo. of Positions: 1ATR: 4866Type: Full time, PermanentSalary: Salary, commensurate with experienceJob ResponsibilitiesApply best practices to ensure the organization is hiring skilled and qualified candidates who best fit with the core values and culture of the organizationSupport and carry out the recruitment and selection workflow for all assigned positions, including but not limited to, ensuring all hiring approvals are on file, conducting intake meetings with hiring managers, facilitating the recruitment strategy, advertising, sharing employment opportunities and sourcing candidates through appropriate media, short listing and pre-screening candidates, scheduling and actively participating in interviews, conducting reference checks, and offers of employmentSet targets for deliverables with each hiring manager to ensure recruitment and selection activities are being carried out in a timely and effective mannerBuild strong collaborative relationships with the management teamActively promote positive external perception of the businessMaintain the application tracking process in coordination with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS).Supporting the company’s recruitment process including job postings (to the company website, various external job boards, colleges / universities, associations and by email distribution), reviewing resumes, screening applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews reference checks, issuing offers of employment, obtaining background checks & driver’s abstract (where applicable), requests for tools / equipment / insuranceProvide onboarding / orientation to new hires, and ensure that all documentation is complete, including first day orientation as requiredSupporting the HR team and TAS to maintain a database of standardized job descriptionsAdministrative tasks related to recruitment and new hiresQualificationsMinimum post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related fieldMinimum of 2-3 years recruitment experienceMinimum of 2-3 years administrative experienceProficient in Microsoft Office applications, direct experience with ExcelExperience with recruiting a broad range of positions such as senior management, technical/sales/administrative, and warehouse/distribution/logistics.Experience in the healthcare industry would be an assetAbility to travel within the province of Ontario when requiredBilingualism (English and French) is preferredSkillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to prioritize effectively, with a sense of urgency as requiredOrganized and detail oriented with solid analytical skillsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and in writingBilingualism (English and French) is an AssetExcellent internal and external customer service skillsStrong interpersonal skillsOntario Medical Supply is an inclusive and equal opportunity employer committed to providing diversity and accommodations for applicants upon request at any stage of the recruitment process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
