It this unique hybrid role where you will get the opportunity to manage brands within the Retail Grocery category The primary objective of the role will be to develop and implement effective marketing programs to attract passionate consumers and customers to our brands. You will also play a lead role in bringing product innovation ideas to life from conception to launch. Our leading brands in your portfolio include Organic Meadow, Rolling Meadow, Happy Planet and a2 Milk. HERE IS WHO YOU ARE… DRIVE & MOTIVATION• You want to leave your footprint and help grow an amazing team• You have a strong interest in healthy living and values which align with our brands • You are passionate about marketing and intuitive and curious by nature• You thrive in working with a smaller organization and are not afraid to be a hands-on leaderCHARACTER & ABILITIES • You have exceptional people management, strategic and leadership capabilities • You are a persuasive and clear communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills• You are able to work collaboratively with others in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment• You can be scrappy at times to find creative solutions and stay within your financial scopeKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS• You have sound marketing skills across a variety of areas • You have very strong analytical and project management skills• You have experience developing and executing marketing strategies, objectives, and KPI’s• You have proven knowledge in all areas within the marketing discipline including digital marketing and launching new products EXPERIENCE• You have 5-10 years of experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods marketing role• You have a Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline • You are proficient with MS Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Teams• You have experience with Google Analytics, WordPress, and social media platforms• You have consumer marketing experience in the food industry and have a proven ability to work closely with sales and directly with customers where requiredNICE-TO-HAVE• Experience managing others• Passion for food products• Solid understanding of the Retail Grocery channel in CanadaTHINGS YOU WILL DO… • Lead and mentor the Marketing team to perform at a high level and put action plans in place to meet business targets and growth objectives• Develop and execute annual Marketing plans• Own the Marketing expense budget and tracking• Assume lead role in all new product innovations and ensure cross functional alignment for flawless execution• Provide thought leadership to the organization in the key areas of brand management, marketing, product innovation and customer requests• Identify and implement areas for improvement within the marketing function OTHER … • Some travel may be required • Attendance at industry events and trade shows as needed
