Our client is seeking a creative and trend-driven Fashion Designer to join their growing design team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, a deep understanding of women’s ready-to-wear, and experience taking designs from concept through to production. This role is perfect for a designer with 3+ years of experience looking to contribute to a collaborative design environment and help shape seasonal collections.ResponsibilitiesCreate sketches, CADs, and detailed technical packages for sampling and production.Conduct trend research, prepare mood boards, and contribute to seasonal themes, color palettes, and fabric direction.Select fabrics, prints, trims, and embellishments aligned with brand aesthetic and market needs.Work closely with pattern makers, product developers, and production teams to ensure fit, construction, and costing requirements are met.Review and provide feedback on samples and prototypes; ensure accuracy and quality through each development stage.Collaborate with merchandising and sales teams to incorporate customer feedback, market trends, and performance insights into design decisions.Research trends, retail market, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to support innovation and commercial viability.Requirements3+ years of experience in fashion design, ideally in women’s ready-to-wear.Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.Strong sketching, CAD, and technical design skills with understanding of garment construction and fabrication.Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.Able to work in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
