Overview Title: Analyst, Commercial RenewalsReporting To: Senior Director and Team Lead Full-Time • Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. • Grade: 8.3 • Location: Downtown Toronto The Opportunity The Renewals Analyst processes Commercial Mortgage Renewals and Assumptions, ensuring the integrity of files and updates to the loan system. How You Will Contribute Process maturing loans for renewals and assumptions in a timely manner. Review renewal and assumption underwriting binders and commitment letters for accuracy. Update CRM opportunities daily to manage workflow volume. Liaise with solicitors, insurance consultants, investors, originators, and other parties to satisfy First National requirements. Accurately process loan details into the mortgage system with clear notes. Maintain all files daily with updated information. Save renewal and assumption documentation, properly naming documents for filing. Assist in maintaining reports used by senior management and investors. Review reports for extension period loans to ensure PACs and M2M are processed. Communicate changes in policy or procedure for updates to the Procedures Manual. Provide backup in absence of other team members. Complete special projects assigned by management. Qualifications Post-secondary education. Working knowledge of Quebec commercial mortgage legal documentation (asset). At least two years’ experience in the mortgage/financial industry. Experience with the Optimus system (asset). Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Good understanding of mortgage security documentation. Prior experience processing mortgage assumptions, renewals, or new loan transactions (asset). Understanding of AML and Down Payment Verification requirements (asset). Experience in a paperless office environment. Strong written communication skills in English. Extremely organized and detail oriented. Fluency in English and French (priority).
