What You’ll Be DoingConsistently perform all duties in accordance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.Carry out field maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauls on natural gas engines, compressors, and associated equipment at client sites throughout Alberta.Execute repairs and overhauls efficiently, meeting established timeframes and quality standards.Conduct preventative maintenance and warranty repairs, maintaining thorough and accurate service records for all work performed.Collaborate closely with the Surepoint team to ensure repair strategies align with customer expectations and quotes.Provide mentorship to apprentices and lead safety initiatives, including conducting Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs).Travel to remote locations as needed, work in camps or hotels, and participate in after-hours emergency support when required. What You Bring to the TeamJourneyperson certification in Heavy Duty Mechanic, Millwright, or Natural Gas Compression Technician.At least 5 years of field service experience, demonstrating advanced skills in troubleshooting and repairing natural gas equipment.Comprehensive understanding of engine, generator, and compressor operations and performance; familiarity with Arial, Waukesha, and Caterpillar equipment is an asset.Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.Current safety certifications— CSO, H2S Alive.Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, safety, integrity, and mentoring others.Self-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
