Eh to Zed Preschool Canada – Innisfil location is seeking Early Childhood Educators in good standing with the College of ECE and Early Childhood Assistants for full-time, part-time and on-call supply positions.

-Must have experience with supervising children of infant to preschool age and experience in nurturing and caring for their well-being.

-Seeking educators who exuberate characteristics of professionalism, warmth, enthusiasm and vibrancy when actively engaging with children in their play and environment.

-Must be able to physically pickup/ lift children for soothing and behaviour guidance/ redirection purposes.

-Patience is a must. Children develop by testing their environments and boundaries. Children are also learning to adapt to new spaces and faces and therefore will show their many changing emotions.

-Creativity is an asset and always encouraged

-We work in teams Taking initiative, communicating, understanding and problem solving are key qualities we seek in educators to build a successful team. A great team impacts the overall atmosphere and temperaments in the children in our care.

-Working together with families is crucial. Our educators thrive in interpersonal skills, building positive reciprocal relationships with families in their child's development and day-to-day happenings.

We are located in Innisfil, ON and operate from 7:00am - 6:00pm. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education and work in close partnership with the Simcoe Muskoka Heath Unit and the County of Simcoe.

We are opted into the Canadian Government CWELLC 10$-a-day program.

Working Hours: typically 9hr/ day w/ 1hr lunch period (rotating shifts). Competitive Wages.

*First Aid Level C and CPR Certification is a requirement (can be obtained during employment). *Vulnerable Sector Check (Police Background Check) is required (can be obtained during employment). *Food Handlers Certification is not required but an asset.

Daily Tasks Include (but are not limited to): Attendance Taking Greeting Families Setting Up Activities Updating Communication Book Serving Meals Changing Diapers/ Guiding Toileting Outdoor Programming Nap Time Monitoring Weekly Portfolio & Daily Photo/ Observations and Updates Calling Parents/ Sending Application Notices, when needed Classroom and Centre Housekeeping Duties Assisting Your Team and Other Teams, when needed. Modeling of appropriate Hygienic practices, Behaviours and Language Etc.
