What you can expect to do here IT Infrastructure consulting specifically in: IT Cabling Infrastructure, Network and Technology systems design IT Cabling Infrastructure, Network and Technology systems Contract Administration Physical IT Infrastructure Audits and Assessments Seeing projects through from beginning to end including: Concept Design Narratives, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, Construction Documents, Tender Review, Project Management, Construction Administration and Project Closeout. Involved in stakeholder engagement and running requirements workshops with clients and stakeholders. Participate in workshops to elicit technical and functional requirements from a broad range of stakeholders, and develop client‑focused solutions across a varied mix of IT Infrastructure and technologies. Advising clients as a subject matter expert and representing WSP as leaders in the IT Infrastructure field. Develop professional, client‑facing documents, including technical specifications and reports, using standard software tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, Bluebeam Studio and Adobe Acrobat. Interpret and review typical design and construction issue technical drawings developed using REVIT, AutoCAD and similar tools. Participate in technical and project meetings with a varied audience and participant mix, including management/executive, end‑user, and technical personnel. Instruct and guide less experienced team members in the development/production of CAD/Revit project deliverables. Work individually or collaboratively with the local and wider Building Technologies team and other disciplines within the business. What you’ll bring to WSP Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT Infrastructure consultancy. Familiarity with alternate delivery models (Alliance, DBFM, Design Build, etc.) is an asset. Experience in active networking preferred. Demonstrable experience managing large IT projects. Commercial acumen essential. Be accomplished in delivering presentations. Flexible approach to the working environment. Ability to obtain a Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 security clearance and work in a secure environment. Must be able to work normal hours Monday‑Friday 8 am to 5 pm, but also be willing to work overtime including evening and weekends when necessary. Must be willing to report to a home office location three (3) days per week. Must be willing to travel periodically and as required for project assignments.
