Job DescriptionAs a Tax Associate, you will work as part of a team of professionals helping to solve complex business problems from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include:Preparation of Canadian and/or US personal income tax returns and related forms/deliverablesResearch and drafting of tax technical memosInteraction with clients to provide advice in relation to tax matters associated with their international employmentEngage with team members to service clients and bring value to their organizationDemonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems Preferred Knowledge And SkillsExposure to Canadian and/or US individual tax knowledgeStrong customer service skills and experience in client facing rolesStrong analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure with a proactive attitudeAbility to learn quickly and manage multiple work assignmentsExperience with MS Excel and/or other tools such as Alteryx QualificationsMinimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s DegreeFields of Study: Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration/Management, International Business Additional InformationThis is a hybrid role, with an expectation of a minimum of two days/week in office.
