We are seeking an experienced and autonomous Senior Cybersecurity Expert to join our team and support a prestigious client in the defense sector. In this role, you will be the sole cybersecurity expert on the team, responsible for advising and implementing robust cybersecurity measures across several key areas. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the highest level of security for sensitive systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Penetration Testing: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks within the system.
  2. Cyber Defense: Implement and manage security measures to protect the client’s assets, ensuring the infrastructure can withstand sophisticated cyber threats.
  3. Architecture (System & Network): Design and optimize secure system and network architectures that adhere to the latest security best practices.
  4. Legal Framework Knowledge: Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks related to cybersecurity, particularly those applicable to the defense sector.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Extensive experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the defense or critical infrastructure sectors.
  2. Proven expertise in penetration testing and vulnerability management.
  3. Strong background in cyber defense strategies and implementation.
  4. Advanced knowledge of system and network architecture design.
  5. Familiarity with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing cybersecurity in defense sectors.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  7. Strong communication and advisory skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
