As BC’s only cardiac critical care center outside of the Lower Mainland and Victoria, KGH offers advanced services like open-heart surgery, ECMO, coronary revascularizations, and endovascular thrombectomies. We are also a Level 2 Trauma Centre and a designated stroke referral center with around‑the‑clock coverage. Our team values educators who help foster the next generation of physicians—and have fun doing it Position DetailsWe are currently accepting applications for multiple permanent full-time Emergency Medicine positions (start date: negotiable, ideally July 2026). A full-time position consists of ~14 shifts/month (average ~8 hours/shift), with options to pick up additional shifts if desired. We are always accepting applications for Locum positions from 2 weeks - 12 months. Minimum shift requirement would be 6 shifts in a 2 week Locum or if > 4 weeks, 6 shifts/month. Interest or experience in research, quality improvement, geriatrics, administration, or another niche is a plus.
