Overview:

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Structural Engineer/Project Manager. This position is responsible for the completion of structural engineering design, investigation, and management of multiple projects of varying scope and complexity.

Complete structural reviews of existing buildings/structuresCompletion of engineering design assignments and management of projects of various scope and complexityCompletion of complex engineering design projects in conjunction with senior EngineersUse of a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques to solve problemsOffice review of structural engineering shop drawings and calculationsField review of structural related construction (e.g. reinforcing steel)Application of design software for structural design in conjunction with senior EngineersRecommend technological improvements to the departmentAssist other engineers in carrying out technical tasks requiring accuracy in calculations, completeness of data and adherence to prescribed testing analysis, design or computation methodsProviding guidance and direction to junior and student engineers or techniciansClient interfacing, as requiredProject management and coordination dutiesOther assigned duties and tasks, as required

Qualifications:

Licensed as a Professional EngineerMinimum 5+ years of experience.Professional experience in a consulting engineering or construction engineering environment managing structural investigation and restoration projectsProficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to provide leadership to junior engineers/techniciansAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentDemonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesSelf-motivating and ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detailGood oral and written English communication skillsAbility to act with business integrity and professionalismValid Driver’s License.
