About the role: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Product Manager/Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. You will serve as the bridge between our product, customer experience, and advisor community. You’ll play a key role in training, onboarding, and supporting financial professionals who use Planworth to deliver advice. This role blends your financial planning expertise, communication skills, and technical curiosity to help advisors succeed and influence the evolution of our product. You will become a subject matter expert on Planworth’s planning logic, regulatory context, and product capabilities, helping advisors understand not just how to use the platform - but why it works the way it does. In the short term, this is a REMOTE position – laptop is provided. However, you must reside in Canada. Key Responsibilities Utilize Intercom to resolve client software issues or address their requests, ensuring their continued satisfaction with our offerings. Deliver one-on-one and group onboarding sessions, webinars, and advanced training workshops. Provide in-depth support on modeling client situations, interpreting results, and applying financial planning best practices in the software. Create and maintain help content, videos, and product walkthroughs that simplify complex planning concepts. Collect user feedback, identify recurring issues, and collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to improve user experience. Attend weekly sprint planning meetings, utilize Jira planning software, actively participate in road mapping and project key milestones. Stay current on regulatory, tax, and planning developments relevant to financial professionals using Planworth. Participate in architecting and testing new financial planning related features and enhancements to the software. Qualifications Must hold or be pursuinga Canadian-recognized financial planning designation (CFP®, QAFP™, PFP, or F.Pl.). Minimum 2–5 years of experience in personal financial planning, paraplanning, or advisory support. Proven understanding ofCanadian tax, investment, insurance, and retirement planningprinciples. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Strong comfort with technology, data, and software tools - ideally with prior exposure to financial planning software (Planworth, Conquest, NaviPlan, RazorPlan, or similar). Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for improving the financial advice industry. Experience with Jira/Intercom, being bilingual (English/French) and experience with agile project management are pluses but not requirements.
