Job Summary:

The Intermediate Architect will produce architectural design solutions and construction drawings while working with and leading architectural teams. This role involves researching materials, products, and technologies required for the design and incorporating them into details, specifications, and other documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings
  • Working with and leading architectural teams, assisting in coordination of disciplines
  • Performing internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with BIM standards, standards, and guidelines
  • Researching materials, products, and technologies required for the design and incorporating them into details, specifications, and other documents

Qualifications:

  • Registered Architect in Ontario (OAA), or eligibility to be registered
  • Familiarity with both Provincial and National related standards and codes
  • Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with Heritage Architecture will be considered an asset
  • Ability to obtain Reliability/Secret level security clearance
  • Bilingualism (English & French) is considered an asset
