Senior People & Culture Operations Specialist

Our team is growing We are looking for an experienced Senior People & Culture Operations Specialist with a strong foundation in HR operations, systems, total rewards, benefits, and HR policies. This role will contribute to driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and enhancing systems that support our global employee experience.

As a hands-on leader, you'll oversee day-to-day People Ops activities, contribute to strategic projects and initiatives, and optimize existing programs and processes. You'll manage the operational aspects of people operations, systems, total rewards, benefits, and core HR processes, ensuring the effective functioning of HR technology, policies, and practices.

This role will be based at our HQ in Yaletown - Vancouver. Visier operates a hybrid working model with Mondays and Fridays optional WFH and Tuesday through Thursday office-based.

What you'll be doing...
  • Lead Day-to-Day P&C Operations: Collaborate with People Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition team to understand business priorities and opportunities. Provide recommendations to optimize People Operations processes and offerings, supporting Visier's talent goals and delivering an exceptional employee experience.
  • End-to-End Employee Lifecycle Management: Coordinate and execute various talent programs, including annual merit cycles, performance reviews, engagement surveys, and benefits renewals, as well as onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and other lifecycle events. Analyze and improve continuous listening, onboarding, offboarding, compensation, performance review, and career programs. Propose and contribute to strategic projects and initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Champion Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize our people analytics platform to leverage data insights, empowering leaders to make informed decisions.
  • Operational leadership: Provide direction and guidance to other team members in order to effectively complete daily operational tasks.
What you'll bring to the table...
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including roles such as HR Manager, Generalist, or Specialist.
  • Experience supporting operations in Canada and at least one other region. Experience with Europe or the Asia-Pacific region is highly valued.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement in P&C Operations, including employee lifecycle events, workflow optimization, and merit cycles.
  • Experience coordinating and prioritizing the activities of a team.
  • Previous experience with Workday or other HCM platforms.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address new challenges and research evolving legal requirements across different regions and jurisdictions.
  • Critical thinking skills to develop recommendations in complex situations with multiple potential solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and support others in doing the same.
  • Experience with, or a strong interest in, using people analytics to enhance the impact of the P&C function.
  • Advanced knowledge of Canadian employment law.

The base pay range for this position in Canada is $90k - $125k / year + bonus. The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills.
