Position Overview We are currently looking for a Media Sales Strategist to join our Calgary team. This position reports to the General Sales Manager. Location Calgary, Alberta – a vibrant, thriving economic hub brimming with opportunity. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Represent two of the most exciting stations in Calgary – XL103, the iconic classic hits radio station, and 90.3 AMP Radio, #1 Hit Music station in the city, while also representing all Stingray Radio stations nationwide. Leverage a diverse range of media solutions — radio, programmatic display, programmatic video, connected TV, digital out‑of‑home, YouTube, search, social, and our proprietary retail media platform — to help clients grow and succeed. Own the full sales process: from lead generation and prospecting to client needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing. Drive revenue growth and achieve revenue targets through consultative sales and development of strategic proposals; manage and grow your client base while identifying new business opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams (promotions, programming, creative, production, digital campaign managers) to deliver impactful, multi‑platform advertising campaigns. Qualifications 2+ years of in‑person, consultative B2B sales or account management experience (experience in multi‑media advertising or digital media is a plus). Consistently achieved and exceeded sales targets. Excellent communicator, presenter, and negotiator. Build strong, lasting relationships while maintaining professionalism. Well‑organized, accountable, and skilled at managing time and competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Thrive in a changing environment and approach challenges with a positive, consultative, and optimistic mindset.
